1. When this world favours anybody it lends him qualification,
attributes & surpassing merits of others & When it turns its face
away from him it snatches away even his own excllences & fame.
2. If you get an opportunity & power over your enemy then, in
thankfulness to God for this, Forgive him.
3. Treat people in such a way & Live amongst them in such a
manner that if you die they weep over you & if you are alive they
crave for your company.
4.Our affairs are hinged to the destiny decreed by the lord; even our
best though tout programmes may lead us to death & destruction.
5. Failures are often result of timidity & fear; Disappointments
are results of uncalled modesty; Hours of leisure pass away like
summer-clouds, therefore do not waste opportunity of doing good.
6.When few blessings come in your way do not drive them away
through thanklessness.
7. He is very unfortunate who cannot in his Lifetime gain a Few
Sincere Friends & sympathisers & more unfortunate is the one
who gained them & then lost them.
8. One who develops the traits of greediness & avarice invites
degradation; One who keeps on advertising his poverty & ill-Luck will
always be humiliated; One who has no control over his tongue will
often have tofaceembarrassment & discomfort.
9. The wise aims at perfection, the foolish aim at wealth.
10. Silence will create respect & dignity; Justice & Fair play will
bringmore friends; Benevolence & Charity will enhance prestige
& position,Courtesywill draw benevolence; Services of
Mankind will secureLeadership; Good Words will
overcome powerful Enemies.
11. Death is never very far.
12. A Friend cannot be considered as a Friend unless he is tested on
three occasions; In time of need, Behind your back & After your death.
13. Be Generous but not Extravagant, be Frugal but not Miserly.
14. A Fool's mind is at the mercy of his tongue & a Wise Man's
tongue isunder control of his mind.
15. Endurance is of two kinds; When you endure unpleasant things
coming to you & When you bear refusal of things pleasing you.
16. I want to teach you five such things which deserve your greatest
anxiety to acquire:--
I.
Have hope in God & none else.
II.
Be afraid of nothing but sin.
III.
If you do not know a thing never feel ashamed to admit ignorance.
IV.
If you do not know a thing never hesitate or feel ashamed to learn it.
V.
Acquire patience & endurance, because their relation with true faith is
that of a head to a body; A body is of no use without a head, similarly
true faith can be of no use without attributes of resignation,
endurance & patience.
17. Only he can Forgive who has power to Punish.
18. There are many educated people who have ruined their
future on accountof their ignorance of religion. Their Knowledge
did not prove of any avail to them.
19. Wealth converts every Foreign Country into your Native place
& poverty turns your native place into a Strange Land.
20. Overlook & forgive weakness of generous people, because
if they fall down Hand of God lifts them.
21. Often your utterances & expressions of your face leak
out the Secrets of your hidden thoughts.
22.Surrender & Acceptance to the will of God are the best companions;
Wisdom is the noblest heritage; Theoretical & practical knowledge
are best marks of distinction; Deep thinking will present the
clearest picture of every problem.
23. A wise man's mind is the safest custody of secrets; An open
& pleasant countenance gets more friends; Patience &
Forbearance will Hide & Cover many defects.
24. Be very cautious of cold in the beginning of winter & welcome it
at theclose of the season. Because cold season behaves with your
bodies exactly as it does with trees; In the early season its severity
makes them shrivel & shed their leaves & at the end it helps
them to revive & rejuvenate.
25. One who does not realize his own value is condemned
to utter failure.
26. To fix even a single unlawfully acquired stone in a house
is to guarantee to its destruction.
27. Bear sorrow & calamities patiently otherwise you will
never be Happy.
28. People, often hate those thing which they do not know or
cannot understand.
29. Trains yourself in good behaviour with regard to what
you dislike in others.
30. Ask your heart about Friendship, for surely it is a
witness that cannot be bribed.
